Training Management System - Communications
TMS allows the site administrator to configure several different ways of sending customer communications. In all instances the messages are customisable and if appropriate can be themed accordingly.
Emails from TMS can be triggered by a set of predefined rules and the content of such messages can be dynamically built from the content of the TMS database. Communications can be triggered on specific actions such as completing the checkout process or triggered based on time for example a course reminder a day before a training course is due to start. Finally customer communication can also be sent out manually from TMS to ensure all communications are logged centrally.
In addition to emails communications can also be sent via SMS and customers have the ability to opt in or out of this communication type. As with emails SMS messages can be triggered in the same number of ways.
Owing to the fact that the content for any communication within TMS can be delivered from the TMS database certain messages, where appropriate, can be personalised to the customer. For example joining instructions containing directions to a specific training centre can be adjusted to show directions from the customers postcode.
