Training Management System - Platform

The training management system platform was built to provide a set of common features which can be used across all elements of the application.  The platform is built on top of Drupal which is an open source content management framework.  Applicity have extended Drupal to provide the application with common features that are needed for a large data based application.  However the use of Drupal as the platform does mean that the wide range of additional functionality available can be used in conjunction with TMS.  The platform provides common features for:

• the display and editing of data
• searching for data
• customisable validation
• workflow support
• menus
• customisation of screen layout
• import and export of data
• flexible auditing of data changes and access

The TMS platform underpins the entire application allowing for all elements of the application to work in a consistent way.
